Narcissa
Narcissa is a farm to table nestled next to The Standard Hotel in the East Village. The menu features seasonal, local and organic produce that are presented in dishes with exotic spices and unique flavors. My favorites on the menu are the potatoe gnocchi with butternut squash, swiss chard, and confit chestnut and the steamed bass with curry broth, lentils, and toasted almonds. I also highly suggest sharing the side of the carrot fries with jalapeno-tofu dip. The atmosphere is trendy and upscale, yet still has an intimate neighborhood charm. Highly suggest this place for date night, small groups of friends, or for when parents are in town.
